The Dubrow Diet

Everything you need to know about the Dubrow diet, including foods to eat, menus, FAQs, shopping lists, and more.

Heather and Terry Dubrow, a well-known celebrity couple, are the creators of the Dubrow Diet. This is referred to as a “two-way diet” because it integrates intermittent fasting with calorie reduction to assist you in losing weight while remaining healthy and youthful in appearance and health.

Although foods high in protein, unsaturated fats, low-carb vegetables, and fresh fruits are all recommended on this diet, it is necessary to follow them. There are various benefits to eating this way, including reduced inflammation, improved heart health, and protection of the brain. This article discusses what foods to eat and which foods to avoid while following the Dubrow diet.

What is the Dubrow Diet Plan?

There are three stages to this diet. The first is “ready for the red carpet.” The second is “summer is approaching”, and the third stage is “look hot while living like a human”. For the first stage, a sixteen-hour fast is followed by every eight-hour meal. It is a method of fasting that is done on an intermittent basis. To begin, adhere to this phase for two to five days at a time. It resets your hunger cues, allowing you to become acclimated to your new diet.

The diet’s second stage should be followed until your weight loss goal is met. It also requires a twelve to sixteen-hour fast. And lastly, the third stage, Look Hot While Living Like a Human is done when you have reached your weight goal. The rules for this phase are the same as for the first, but you must fast for sixteen hours twice a week and twelve hours on the other five days. Cheat days are allowed during the second and third phases of the diet. You are allowed to eat your favorite foods in moderation.
